Without a doubt, Sophie Koechlin is a true child of the sixties. Born in 1960, she grew up in an environment where creativity was everywhere: her father, Philippe Koechlin , was a journalist, director, and above all, founder of the legendary magazine Rock & Folk , a veritable cultural compass for an entire generation. She carries within her the artistic ferment and boundless curiosity of this pivotal decade.
🎨 A multifaceted, free-spirited, and prolific artist
Trained in drawing and art history, Sophie Koechlin constantly explores forms, media, and languages. She has worked as an actress, radio host, author and illustrator of children's books, and translator and adapter of English-language works—notably for Disney. Her career path has been anything but straightforward, yet it has always been fueled by the same thirst for creation.
It was only natural that she joined the prestigious Hermès fashion house with the carriage logo as a designer of silk scarves . With her, the scarf becomes an invitation to travel.
